Gaia’s Antibiotics

site specific installation, Malmö, Sweden, 2015

Ancient Acrobatics ongoing collaboration with Denisa Kollarova

In March 2015 we invited Nina Frankova (b. 1987) to spend a week long residency Trumpeten co Mellanrum’s temporary studio situated in an empty store space along the main shopping street in central Malmö, SE. Nina took advantage of the shopping-context to realise a part of her and XX’s project XX in which the garlic cloves plays a central role in order to investigate the economy, fetish potential and labour of a crafted object. The last day of her stay, Nina invited the puclic to the event Gaia’s Antibiotic – a shop window installation including ceramic works for sale in the form of an individual auction.
