Gaia’s Antibiotics

2015, site specific installation, Trumpeten co Mellanrum, Malmö, Sweden

In March 2015 we invited Nina Fránková (b. 1987) to spend a week long residency Trumpeten co Mellanrum’s temporary studio situated in an empty store space along the main shopping street in central Malmö, SE. Nina took advantage of the shopping-context to realise a part of her project in which the garlic cloves plays a central role in order to investigate the economy, fetish potential and labour of a crafted object.

The last day of her stay, Nina invited the public to the event Gaia’s Antibiotic – a shop window installation including ceramic works for sale in the form of an individual auction.
